"Some of my favorite childhood memories were made at Redfish Lake. Our whole family would camp right by the water, and I’d spend hours catching tiny fish in a mason jar with a bit of bread, just to build them little ponds in the sand.

That deep, early connection never left me. In fact, I have a giant painting of Redfish in my own living room, and I find myself continually drawn back to painting it. There are just so many angles, reflections, and seasonal shifts to explore.

My newest piece, "Redfish Blue, October Gold", captures my absolute favorite time to be there. The summer crowds have thinned, the wildfire smoke has blown away, and the autumn air is crisp and clean. The trees are turning, and you can see the peaks so wonderfully clear.
