In this commission, the client saw one of my paintings of a Steelhead being released. He was then inspired to commission me to paint his own custom work with what he had in mind.

He had no photos to work from for his idea. He wanted a painting portraying a fishing memory on the Lower Deschutes River in Oregon. The memory included a buddy, a driftboat, and the successful day of "Catch and Release". We worked together back and forth to come up with photos and a composition that captured the memory. He was pleased with the result.
